The itinerary through the city centre and then the valleys of Piacenza, it’s full of interesting historic and gastronomic goods. Starting from the city centre of Piacenza with its beautiful Piazza Cavalli and many other hidden treasures and following with an historical and gastronomic tour of the hills. You will have the opportunity to discover the history of Bobbio: the great medieval village that won the title of Borgo dei Borghi in 2019, and visit Castelnovo Castle. But you cannot leave the valleys without a real taste of typical wines: a guided visit to a wine cellar followed by a degustation and an appetizing lunch with PDO products such as the cold cuts Coppa, Salame and Pancetta and the widely appreciated Grana Padano cheese.
